One of real classic microphones, COLES 4038 Studio Ribbon Microphone. From the start developed by BBC in the 1960´s but well acknowledged and still used as a recording microphone for both singing and OH. Natural smooth and perfectly flat response between 30Hz to 15kHz and a figure 8 polar pattern have made this microphone very popular. It´s well known that for example Beatles and LED ZEPLIN used the 4038 on many of their album, both for song as well as OH to drums.
