Sweden and Acquris develop "Naked Camera"

The new naked camera is a buzz word now a days. However is not just an American invention. Sweden and Acquris is together with France and Italy, working in a research project in this particular area. Acquris is working with a EU project called IMATERA and sits as a national coordinator for Sweden and develops together with the French Thales (TED) and Italian Ulis and research laboratories CEA-LETI and FBK-irst, a "naked camera". As a Swedish research laboratories, we use the Swedish Defense Research Institute (FOI) and Chalmers University of Technology (CTH).

The Nobel Prize in Physics 2009 goes to the inventors of the CCD Sensor

The two physicists who invented the CCD image sensor have been rewarded with a quarter share of this year's Nobel Prize for Physics. Willard S. Boyle and George E. Smith developed the charge-coupled device in 1969 while they were working at Bell Laboratories. One year later, the world´s first solid-state video camera was in production.

Acquris 100W LED




For a special project, we have developed a cold white (6000-7000K) 100W LED. With an impressive brightness of 6500Lm is it powerful source of light. In our lab we measured 2300Lux at one meter, and given that the radiation angle is over 90°, the radiated light becomes very impressive.
