Back to Night Vision Equipment
From day 2:

Our vehicle-mounted version of night vision heat signature camera. Specially formulated to assist the driver in difficult to impossible visibility conditions such as fog, rain, snow, darkness, etc. By using a high resolution chips are very good pictures that may show a man of up to 1 km away and a moose up to 2 km!
This camera can also be used everywhere else where a 7-15 volts DC power source is available. Other applications can be warehouses, schools, etc. where identification is not necessary is important but more the knowledge that there are people in place at the "wrong" time and what they do.
In addition, the technology allows not only to see where people are in real time but also where they have been.
ACQ-NIGHTCAM1 is so sensitive that it is possible to see for instance were people have sat, been standing or been holding, provided the area/object has become a bit heated. Something that many times can be invaluable.
The use of a newly developed a "Focal Plan Array uncooled micro bolometer" chip has enabled us to offer this product to a next to ridiculously low price in relation to performance and function.
This type of camera is sold as an option to exclusive BMW, etc but is still not quite the same since our camera has a higher resolution and hence a longer range. BMW say they see about 300 m, while our camera is capable of detecting deer by the road at over one kilometer away.
The resolution of our camera is a full 384 x 288 pixels, which may seem modest, but most thermal imaging infrared cameras sold today have a resolution of just 120 x 120 or 160 x 144 pixels.
In the case of pixels, it is not really fair to compare the normal cameras that work with visible light and an thermal imaging infrared camera. This is because a normal camera work with light particles, photons, reflected from an object.
An thermal imaging infrared camera works with the thermal radiation that an object emits. Therefore, it is excellent to see for example an animal or human that is obscured or hiddden behind or in a shrubbery since it's thermal energy passes through the "cooler" vegetation, hence making it show up as a "glowing spot" in the dark surroundings.
The camera is delivered in a sturdy case that also hold a 12 volt power adapter, kabeling, user manual and a 7" LCD monitor.
