- In our series of underwater lamps for divers, we now have developed our own "main light", ACQ-DIVELIGHT120-HID35. As the name applies, it is a 35 watt HID-lamp that can sustain the pressure down to over 120 meters depth!

Now we have also used all our knowledge and developed our own Dive light, ACQ-DIVELIGHT120-HID35.
As the name applies, we are using 35 watt HID-lamp which give several advantages.
Not only a high light exchange with 2950 lumen but if we also include the other optical components like reflector and lens, we get as much as 58,753 LUX! at 1 meter making it fully visible in daylight. Direct sunlight is approx 50,000 lus.
The color temperature is 6200K which is counted as daylight, making it equally useful as a film light.

We have also managed to pressure test it down to 60 meter however our design is so sturdy that we guarantee the double depth! Non the less than 120 meters!
We will later this spring pressure test is in the Swedish Defense pressure chamber facility that can go down to 200 meter.
We have built it with 6mm thick aircraft aluminum plus a 8 mm thick high strength glass as a front lens. The on/off switch is magnetic so there is no openings around the switch where water can penetrate. The charge connectors has a rubber cover but is made of sturdy "banana-jacks" that are also completely tight.

However due to the HID-bulbs design, it demands nearly five times more current during ignition compered to continuous operation. Therefore the total run time is severely reduced every time the lamp is turned on.
During normal operating condition, you can therefore expect approx 120 minutes run time/charge

Sturdy connections for charging of the internal battery that are also completely pressure tight

Smart and easy to understand indicator for the battery. Green OK, blue when there is about 50 minutes left and when only about 10 minutes remain, the indicator turns red.
